The Atomic Knights banded together after World War III, which, in their universe, happened in October, 1986.

History

Founded by ex-soldier Gardner Grayle, the Knights operated out of the small town of Durvale with a single goal: to restore order to the war-torn Earth.

Paraphernalia

Equipment:

• Atomic Knight Armor: Gardner Grayle and Douglas Herald found six ancient armor suits that were exposed to radiation over the centuries. The metal armor could absorb radiation and was impervious to nuclear rays, but only for a limited time.
  

Transportation:

• Giant Dalmatians: giant dogs genetically altered due to radiation exposure.

• Based on Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium this was a variant Kamandi reality where the Great Disaster was an atomic war.
