Atrocitus was one of the Five Inversions, who claimed he could speak to destiny.

History

He was trapped by the Guardians on Ysmault. He broke free after a ship crashed on the planet, and immediately set out to kill Green Lanterns. He was eventually stopped on Ungara by Abin Sur and Sinestro, and returned to Ysmault. He taunted Abin by predicting a War of Light because of the betrayal of Sinestro, but Abin chose not to believe him.

• This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the film Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and is an adaptation of Atrocitus. The original character was created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver and first appeared in Green Lantern (Volume 4) #25.
