Ava Sharpe is the co-captain of the Legends and the 12th genetically-engineered Advanced Variant Automation clone created by Bishop in the 23rd Century, originally branded as Bossy Ava. She was later recruited by Rip Hunter to serve as a high-ranking agent in the Time Bureau, with her mind being erased of her original programming. After Hunter's demise, Sharpe eventually developed a romantic relationship with the Legends captain Sara Lance and later joined the team.
Ava Sharpe was created by Phil Klemmer and Marc Guggenheim, first appearing in DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode Aruba-Con (2017).
