Awkwardman is a member of the Inferior Five with super-strength and the ability to live underwater. His parents are Mr. Might and Mermaid of the Freedom Brigade. Despite his powers, he is highly incompetent and relies heavily on the support of his teammates to accomplish literally anything. In his civilian identity he is a beach-comber.
Awkwardman was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Joe Orlando, first appearing in Showcase #62 (1966).
