The Vulture was an enemy of Doll Man.
History
Aylmer was the son of a pet store owner. Diminutive and deformed, he used his appearance to don a flight suit and become a jewel thief under the name the Vulture. He worked with the city's criminal element to pawn off his stolen goods.
He attempted to steal the million dollar Ronker diamond off Martha Roberts. After being stopped by Doll Man, he returned to his father's store to fetch a group of trained vultures. The two came to a disagreement after which Aylmer punched his father, who died shortly after. In his second attempt for the Ronker diamond, he captured Martha and took her to his hideout. His vultures captured Doll Man. Struck by her beauty, he proposed to her but she rebuked him. Learning of this double cross, the mobsters turned on him. In the confusion of the fight, the hideout burned down and everyone got out, but Doll Man feared the Vulture could return.
