• Hydrokinesis: As the Avatar of the Blue, Azathoth has complete control over the water of Earth 2.

Trivia

• It would seem that the character is heavily influenced by the writing of H. P. Lovecraft who wrote of Azathoth as an incomprehensibly large being at the centre of the universe.
• Azathoth is also unleashed by Marella from an underwater sleep which alludes to "The Call of Cthulhu" wherein Cthulhu is awoken from a deep sleep. Similarly the word "R'lyeh" is used, this is where the aforementioned Cthulhu is imprisoned.
• The physical appearance of Azathoth also seems to resemble many artists' interpretations of these writings.
