The Spectre is an over zealous spirit of vengeance bound to Jim Corrigan.

History

When Tala disrupted mystic beings, Spectre separated from Jim Corrigan and went on a rampage. As he was attacking Blackgate Penitentiary, the Justice League tried to stop him, but he gave Superman a glass jaw and turned Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman into candles. He was defeated when Rama Kushna let Deadman to possess Spectre, righting his wrongs and returning the spirit to Corrigan.
