Banks Barrows src

Trouble-prone fliers Loops McCann and Banks Barrows served together in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Together they were known as Loops & Banks.

During the Second World War, Lieut. Banks Barrows, U.S.M.A.C. and his boss Capt. Loops McCann, U.S.M.A.C., fought the forces of Imperial Japan in the Pacific Theater. Their mutual chemistry was entirely antagonistic, to all appearances, yet they somehow collaborated on some amazing feats of air-sea rescue, air-to-air combat, and bombing.

Abilities

Weaknesses

  • His partner Loops McCann finds Banks Barrows to be argumentative; Barrows disputes this point.

  • This version of Banks Barrows, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series. Even though versions of the character may have since appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
  • Banks Barrows' short but violent career took a toll on him. He survived at least five crash landings,[2] was shot down at least thrice,[3] He once was tortured with a medieval "boot" device,[4] has been wounded by antiaircraft cannonfire,[5] fallen down a flight of stairs,[6] and has accumulated at least three blunt instrument head traumas.[7]
  • For reasons unknown and by means undisclosed, Banks Barrows used to carry around a supply of "Mickey Finns".[8]
