Barbara Eileen Gordon is the ex-wife of James Gordon and the mother of Barbara Gordon and James Gordon, Jr.
History
She had walked out on the marriage for James, Jr.'s sake. James still loved her, however he would go on to marry Sarah Essen.
Years later, she moved back to Gotham City, and eventually worked up the courage to speak to her ex-husband.

- Barbara Eileen Gordon was created by Frank Miller and Dave Mazzucchelli, first appearing in Batman #404. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Barbara Eileen Gordon first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Batgirl (Volume 4) #4 by Gail Simone.
