The Flash was a hero with super-speed on Earth -52.

History

He was friends with Batman until many of Wayne's sidekicks died, causing Batman to go insane. Batman thought that, if he had the Flash's power, he'd be fast enough to stop crimes that he otherwise could not. After forcing Barry into the Speed Force with him, Batman having bested the Flash, the resulting energy caused the two superheroes's bodies to turn into skeletons and as such, the Flash was ultimately and permanently fused into Batman's body, and Wayne now had the super-speed he had so desperately craved.

When The Batman Who Laughs came to recruit Bruce, Barry temporarily gained control and told Bruce not to trust him. However Bruce took back control of the body before talking to The Batman Who Laughs.

When Flash of Earth 0 disabled The Merciless' universe cage leading to an explosion of positive energy. In the process Bruce was erased re-birthing The Red Death in gold armor making Barry re-take over the body. Barry decides to help the Earth 0 heroes stop the Dark Knights and convinces Earth 0 Barry to leave him behind while The Merciless arrives. When The Batman Who Laughs arrives, he reveals he knew Barry would take control of the body and allowed such a thing to give the heroes hope. He also reveals that the same energy that recreated him is going to destroy him and their warheads have a "dark matter universe" within them. Barry cries out as he explodes knowing what's going to happen next.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Speed Force Conduit: Speed force conduits possess a connection to the Speed Force, a cosmic force that allows its users to push the boundaries that keep time and space. As a conduit of the Speed Force, all aspects of their physiology are accelerated and enhanced.
  • Accelerated Healing: By having a connection to the speed force, every speed force conduit has an incredibly fast healing ability and can heal from most injuries in seconds and devastating injuries in minutes.
  • Enhanced Senses: The Speed Force enhances the speedster's senses, allowing them to perceive and process thoughts faster than the normal person.
  • Phasing: Speed Force conduits can tap into the Speed Force to vibrate their molecules in a way to achieve intangibility for short bursts, allowing them to phase through objects.
  • Speed Force Aura: The Speed Force manifests an aura around the speedster and whatever they are carrying, protecting them from adverse effects of their speed, such as friction with the air.
    • Superhuman Durability: The Speed Force Aura also protects speedsters from kinetic impacts, which in turn, makes them much more durable and resistant to injury than any normal human.
  • Superhuman Stamina: The Speed Force grants its conduits with a great increase of stamina, allowing them to fight or run much longer than the average person. Although a great increase, it is not unlimited.
  • Superhuman Speed: The universal factor of being a Speed Force conduit grants its user with imperceptible amounts of speed. All powers that conduits possess derives from their speed.. This also confers:
    • Superhuman Agility: The speedster's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to superhuman levels. This allows them to easily maneuver while moving at superhuman speed.
    • Superhuman Reflexes: In conjunction with their enhanced senses, The speedster's reflexes are heightened immesurably, allowing them to dodge or react faster than normal.
  • Vortex Creations: Speed Force conduits are able to create vortices of air by running in circles or rotating their extremities at super-speed. These vortices can be used for a number of effects.

Abilities

Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): With the aid of the Flash, they both defeated the Merciless in battle.
