Quote1 It's hard to imagine Bart Allen would ever betray us like this. That he would jeopardize everything we're worked so hard to create and protect. But he's just like Wally. Trying to be the perfect moral hero. Adhering to a legacy that doesn't work anymore. Quote2

The Flash is a clone of the original Bart Allen created by Tim Drake.[1] After the death of the original at the hands of Inertia and the Rogues, this version of Bart grew up to become the Flash. Donning a yellow and red costume, he became a member of the vigilante group colloquially known as Titans.[2]

Titans of Tomorrow

In reality, Bart was a spy for the Titans East. He was even in a relationship with eastern Titan Ravager. In anticipation for the arrival of the time-displaced Teen Titans, they hired Deathstroke to locate the Cosmic Treadmill.[3] The Titans realized Bart's deception and attacked him when he was visiting Titans Tower, New York City. Titans East and the Teen Titans came to his aid. The two teams then broke into the Batcave and overpowered the Titans West enough to get to the Cosmic Treadmill and send the Teen Titans back to their native time. Although this caused subtle changes in the future timeline, it did not erase it as the Titans had hoped.[4]

Not long afterwards, Bart believed that Rose had just been using him. He left her and the Titans East, re aligning himself with the Titans.[5]

Powers

  • Speed Force Conduit: People who, for whatever reason, are connected to the Speed Force are sometimes called Speed Force Conduits. This means that they are connected to the Speed Force and are tethered to it.[6]
    • Accelerated Healing: The Speed Force connection allows the speedster's body recover from injury much faster than normal.[citation needed]
    • Enhanced Senses: The Speed Force enhances the speedster's senses, allowing them to perceive the world at a rate attuned how fast they can react.[7]
    • Phasing: Speed Force conduits can tap into the Speed Force to vibrate their molecules in a way to achieve intangibility for short bursts, allowing them to phase through objects.[8]
    • Speed Force Aura: The Speed Force also manifests an aura around the speedster and whatever they are carrying, protecting them from adverse effects of their speed, such a friction with the air.[9]
      • Superhuman Durability: The Speed Force Aura also protects speedsters from kinetic impacts, which in turn, makes them much more durable and resistant to injury than any normal human.[10]
    • Superhuman Stamina: While not unlimited, the connection to the Speed Force does bolster the speedsters stamina well beyond the limits of a normal human.[7]
    • Superhuman Speed: The main effect of the connection is to allow a speedster to move at vast superhuman speeds[7]. This also confers:
    • Vortex Creations: Speed Force conduits are able to create vortices of air by running in circles or rotating their extremities at super-speed. These vortices can be used for a number of effects.[11]
