Synopsis for "Batgirl"
While Batgirl is guarding a sewer entrance, Batman talks to young Mr. Jeffers who has a 5 million dollar bounty on his head. Jeffers explains that he got his powers through experimentation, but there was an accident and Jeffers was able to flee. Batman gets really curious when Jeffers also tells him that the female assassin Ezra took out Batgirl in a fight. As Batman learns about the fact that Jeffers did something with Batgirl's brain, he hears some shots fired above and anxiously runs off. But when he reaches the sewer exit, Batgirl already violently took care of three attackers. Batman was afraid that her fighting skills got diminished, but obviously her instincts are still good enough to prevail. Then he orders Batgirl to bring in the doctor who experimented on Jeffers.
Batgirl does as she is told and brings the doctor to a small cabin in Robinson Park. Batman wants her to stay inside while he fights off any assassins. But when Batgirl sees how about a dozen men surround the cabin, she decides to fight at Batman's side. However, she takes four bullets and when she wakes up again, she finds herself in the clinic of Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Batman asks her why she rushed at an assassin who was shooting at her and Batgirl is able to reply that she did it on instinct. Batman likes that answer ...
