Synopsis for "The Flood Part Two"

The Calculator has stolen the justifier helmet, which was left behind after Darkseid’s last attempt to take over Earth. Oracle knows he is coming after her because she took his daughter away from him, and she tries to convince Batgirl to keep a low profile so he doesn’t find her as well; Batgirl says she can take care of herself right before Oracle shuts down all her technology.

Stephanie Brown goes to find Assistant Professor Barbara Gordon at Gotham University, but instead she finds Nick Gage in Barbara’s office. She is overfamiliar, acting more like Batgirl with Detective Gage than Stephanie Brown meeting a stranger, but she manages to speak to Gage about their failure to save the security guard the other night without revealing her secret identity.

Wendy Kuttler follows the trail of breadcrumbs to Firewall, and she is locked inside for her own protection. While Barbara is teaching, the Calculator uses the helmet to take over the minds of everyone in Gotham and has them attack her. She fights them off with help from Batgirl, but they are unable to reach her car before they are swarmed by more mind-controlled “zombies,” including her father Commissioner Gordon. Oracle is knocked to the ground, and the zombies vomit an unknown substance on her that causes her to fall asleep. She is carried off while Batgirl is distracted, fighting a mind-controlled Catwoman, Huntress, and Man-Bat.
