Synopsis for "Trust"
Proxy informs Stephanie that the police have cordoned off Gotham's financial district because of a man who is suspected of murdering his wife and Detective Nick Gage feels this situation requires the attention of someone like Batgirl. Gage acts as the negotiator while talking to Mr. Griswald, the crazed husband who is hold up in a van. Gage tries to talk Griswald down and have him come out of the van but Gage's task force comes under fire from an unknown threat. The SWAT team is called in to retaliate but as they approach the van, Griswald throws a petrol can that bursts causing everything and everyone to go up in flames. Gage is the only one who survives the fiery explosion and spots Griswald running from the van.
