Synopsis for "Unsinkable"

In Blackgate Batgirl confronts her father, the reapers' mysterious client. Cluemaster infects Batgirl with Black Mercy, but before she falls unconscious, she halts his escape with a gooperang.

Batgirl wakes up at West Mercy Hospital where she has been tended by her mother. Crystal Brown has protected Batgirl's identity by insisting they keep her mask on, and while she doesn't outright admit to knowing the truth, she tells her daughter she's proud of her. Batgirl leaves her hospital room and is greeted by some fans, and she sees Robin on the roof of a nearby building, checking up on her.

Oracle tells Batgirl she brought herself out of the coma before she was treated. She asks Batgirl what she saw, and Batgirl flashes back to her hallucinations of fighting the Queen of Fables with Supergirl, Stargirl, Ms. Martian, and Bombshell; fighting Black Lanterns as a Blue Lantern with Red Lantern Robin and Green Lantern Oracle; traveling through time with her predecessors as Batgirl, Cassandra Cain and Barbara Gordon, and Skeets to meet the Blackhawk Squadron in 1944; fighting the Royal Flush Gang at her college graduation; as an adult, playing with her young son; and becoming Nightwing alongside Nell as Batgirl.

Batgirl admires the purple sunset and declares, “It's only the end if you want it to be,” as she grapples off into the night.
