Synopsis for "Batgirl Rising: Robins are Red..."

Batgirl is training in the Batcave when Red Robin interrupts her, briefly mistaking her for Cassandra Cain. They argue about their last meeting, and Red Robin calls her “useless” when she doesn't know where Batman is. They receive an alert about a hack in progress at the Thompkins Clinic, and Red Robin tells her to let the “professionals” handle it.

Barbara Gordon and Nick Gage are eating together to make up for their failed date. Barbara asks him why a promising detective would transfer to Gotham, and he asks why she would take a job teaching at Gotham University; each answers that they like a challenge. They notice that cell service has gone down and excuse themselves.

Batgirl watches Red Robin fight the tech assassins through the window. Red Robin tells her the tech assassins were trying to access Leslie Thompkins's encrypted files and said, “Leslie's the first.” Neither understands what that means. Batgirl tries to contact Oracle, but can't; instead, she sends the Ricochet back to the Batcave on autopilot with a note explaining the situation.

In order to reach Leslie, who is attending a fundraiser at the Gotham Metropolitan Museum of Art, they change into formalwear and enter the party as Tim Wayne and his date. Steph removes Leslie from the party and tells her to hide as she and Tim are surrounded by assassins. While they are fighting, Oracle manages to contact Supergirl, and she destroys the League of Assassins' satellite and reestablishes communication in Gotham.

Later, Batgirl tells Red Robin that she isn't doing this for herself, but “all of them,” and he says he's proud of her. Batgirl puts an end to the intimate moment, saying, “This isn't good for me right now.” That is when they both are startled by the arrival of Pru.
