Synopsis for "An Ambush of Tigers"

Alysia's girlfriend Jo confessed via e-mail her involvement in the case of the tigers' attacks: her activist group was fed up an anonymous tip about animal trafficking. They found and transport the tigers to a warehouse, with the intention of keeping the animals safe until they were ready to talk to the police. But after the tiger attacks began, Jo realized their group had been set up. She went to the warehouse to transfer the animals somewhere safe... and she has been missing for over 24 hours.

Batgirl rides her bike to the warehouse and runs into Velvet Tiger. They battle, but the villain owns a device able to make Batgirl's gadgets go off. As Batgirl is distracted, Velvet Tiger disappears.

Batgirl checks Velvet Tiger's background and finds out she is her friend Jeremy's ex-girlfriend. Batgirl confronts Jeremy, and he admits Lani blackmailed him into collecting biometric data from students, which she used to frame them for murder. Batgirl wants to know where to find Lani, and Jeremy gives her an address. Batgirl promises to stop her, but she tells him to turn himself in. He has to accept responsibility for his part in those crimes.

Batgirl heads to Velvet Tiger's mansion and crashes the place just in time to save Jo from being fed to two tigers. Batgirl wrestles with both tigers and knocks them out with tranquilizer darts. Velvet Girl gets mad and pounces on Batgirl. Batgirl is clearly the best fighter, but Velvet Tiger stabs her with one of her own sleep darts. Batgirl gets drowsy and collapses onto the ground. Tiger is about to literally fillet her when Batgirl's bike, remote-controlled by Frankie, smashes its way through a wall, runs over Tiger and tells Batgirl to climb aboard. Batgirl thinks she is hallucinating but she hops in after being told the police is in their way to apprehend Velvet Tiger.

Barbara's bike takes her to safety. Later Barbara wonders how she got home -her bike can't have been alive, right?- and how she will talk Frankie out of being an active hero
