Synopsis for "Dead Wrong"
Cluemaster, driven insane by his resurrection via Lazarus, forces Stephanie to participate in a demented gameshow, shocking her when she gives answers he doesn't like. He tries to get her to say that she loves him and enjoys outsmarting people like he does, but she refuses. He also reveals that the Mad Hatter is the one who brought him back to life. Cassandra bursts in to rescue Stephanie, dodging Cluemaster's boobytraps, and frees her.
Stephanie tells Cluemaster that if he really loves her he will stay out of her life, but he refuses and grabs her. She pushes him away and punches him out, saying she hates this is what their relationship has come to. Cluemaster gets up and tries to shoot Cassandra, but Stephanie pushes her out of the way and is hit. Horrified, Cluemaster tries to commit suicide but Cassandra stops him, saying he deserves to live with what he has done. Stephanie dies in Cassandra's arms, but Cass is able to revive her with a refined form of Lazarus known as Lazarus Serum which she stole from the League of Assassins.
The Batgirls call Officer Brooks, and leave before he arrives with group of GCPD cops to arrest Cluemaster, who has suffered a mental breakdown. A week later at Arkham Tower, a detective interviews him to try and find out where the Mad Hatter is. She suggests that he give her a clue but he refuses, saying that isn't who he is anymore. That night, a severed head with a note attached is dumped on Grace O'Halloran's doorstep.
