Synopsis for "One Way or Another, Part 5 of 6"

Barbara comes out of retirement to help Cassandra and Stephanie defeat the Saints. Together, the three Batgirls outmanoeuvre the Saints and leave them tied up for the GCPD. Before they leave, Barbara gives the Saints incontrovertible proof that Simon Saint is dead and that Seer has been manipulating them. She also reprograms and "adopts" the Saints' robotic dog Fido-5.

Suddenly, Tutor broadcasts a message to every screen in Gotham simultaneously, calling on his followers to rise up. Barbara tracks his signal to the defunct Arkham Asylum and manages to determine Tutor's identity as Cody Kline, an artist who suffered a psychotic break after being exposed to Fear Toxin and spent a short time at Arkham. Cassandra and Stephanie search the abandoned asylum while Barbara goes to Charles Dante's home to make sure he is okay. At the Asylum, the Batgirls find Cody Kline's file and discover that Charles Dante was his doctor while he was at Arkham. Stephanie calls Barbara to warn her, but she is already at Dante's house.

Cassandra hears a noise on the roof and goes up to check. She finds a possessed Grace O'Halloran broadcasting Tutor's message to the city and an army of possessed citizens converging on the Asylum. Meanwhile, Stephanie is confronted by Tutor. At Dante's home Spellbinder finds Barbara and puts her into a trance in a room full of portraits of Gotham citizens, including Stephanie.
