Notes
- Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium denotes this issue as the first appearance of Earth-3839, the setting of John Byrne's later Superman & Batman: Generations series.
- Several elements from this story indeed resurface in Generations, most prominently Dick Grayson serving as Batman with Bruce Wayne, Jr. as Robin; according to Byrne, it was this particular element that initially inspired Generations.
- The online companion to the All New Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (2006) uses The Compendium as their source for their Earth-3839 designation.
