Synopsis for "Hatred's Home"
Batman learns Cluemaster is planning a breakout from Blackgate Penitentiary. He finds Dragoncat stealing chemicals for Firefly in the laundry, and he tries to recruit him as his inside man in the plot.
He tells the other conspirators that Batman is onto them. They decide to go through with the breakout, and Dragoncat brings Willis Danko, Cassidy, and Steeljacket along to his prearranged meeting with Batman as muscle. Batman defeats them all, but he is spotted on the security cameras. Warden Zehrhardt puts the prison in lockdown to stop Batman.
The conspirators believe Batman has a false identity in the prison, and thinking one of them might be him, they kill two new prisoners and a guard on his first day.
Firefly sets a fire, and the prisoners are evacuated to the Barge. While they are being evacuated, Cluemaster gives the order for the breakout. The prisoners sail off on the Barge, threatening to throw the captured guards overboard if the warden and his men make a move.
Batman releases a gas on the Barge and fights off the prisoners. He tells Cluemaster the Barge isn't going to go far, and the current takes them straight to Canary Wharf, where Batman dives off just as the Barge lands on the beach. All but twenty prisoners are recaptured by Harvey Bullock and Renee Montoya.
Batman tells Robin they'll start the search for the missing twenty prisoners tomorrow.
