Batman: Gotham Adventures #13 is an issue of the series Batman: Gotham Adventures (Volume 1) with a cover date of June, 1999.

Synopsis for "The End"

Batman punches a criminal and catches a vial, as Katherine interrupts her grandfather, Perfesser, who is telling the story.

In the hideout of Perfesser, Mastermind, and Mr. Nice, a small boy knocks on the door, with a request that Mr. Nice come and lead the "Leper Children of Bhang". Mr. Nice agrees to go, although Mastermind protests, due to the estimation that it will take 10 years to fulfill the legend.

Elsewhere, Batman and Nightwing retrieve another plague sample vial.

The villainous trio breaks into a hazmat unit to pull off one last job, where they take 2 plague vials. Batman finds them at the Gotham General Hospital, where Mr. Nice holds him off while Mastermind combines 3 plague vials, threatening to unleash it on Gotham unless his demands are met. However, the request turns out to be that Mr. Nice never leaves the group.

Ultimately, Mr. Nice says his goodbyes and walks off with the leper child, while Mastermind and Perfesser are arrested. The story ends, as Perfesser has fallen asleep, although Katherine starts from the beginning.
