Batman: Gotham Adventures #28 is an issue of the series Batman: Gotham Adventures (Volume 1) with a cover date of September, 2000.

Synopsis for "Notes"

Above Gotham City, the Riddler televises a riddle to Batman from a blimp. After, Batman and Robin go to a warehouse on the piers to look for clues, but Batman falls into a fiery trap. He escapes using a tank to break the wall and swims out. Meanwhile, Robin has found a disk containing another riddle.

In the Batcave, Nightwing uses his musical knowledge to decipher it, and the three go to Gazette Square. There, they find a mob of Jack West fans, and the Riddler announces that he has the musician tied up. He incites the crowd to rush forward to get a new song, but Batman takes the disc away.

Once again, Nightwing figures out the hidden musical clues, leading them to a previous hideout of the Joker, now inhabited by the Riddler and some of Joker's goons. However, Riddler accidentally reveals that he didn't ask permission to borrow the henchmen, resulting in them begging to be arrested so the Joker doesn't find out. After apprehending Riddler, Batman tells him that he ignored the riddles and instead solved Jack's superior hints, much to Riddler's dismay. Nightwing frees Jack West, who is actually glad that he got kidnapped because he enjoyed his job, which Nightwing wholeheartedly agrees with.
