Synopsis for "Six Hours to Kill"

In the Batcave, Alfred and Robin wait as Batman returns after a long night of crime-fighting. However, the Batmobile is out of control, and Batman emerges from the car, dazed, and collapses on the floor. Before he passes out, he mumbles something about being poisoned and only having six hours to live. Apparently, Batman was looking for the hidden loot from a diamond heist by "Goggles" McCracken. Alfred gives Robin a blood sample, who then goes to find a certain toxicologist.

First, Robin stops by the Iceberg Lounge to question Penguin about the whereabouts of Poison Ivy. Next, he locates her and Harley Quinn hiding out in the Gotham Botanical Gardens. After some persuading, Poison Ivy identifies the toxin as of animal origin, which needs an antitoxin to counteract the effects.

While speaking with Alfred, Robin suddenly realizes that Batman said "fish tanks", which takes him to the Gotham Aquarium. He finds the source of the poison, the blue-ringed octopus, along with the stolen diamonds. However, Robin is attacked by Goggles McCracken and his men, who are disguised as security guards. Robin manages to sic the octopus on Goggles, forcing him to give up the antidote. After Batman recovers, he congratulates Robin; while at the police station, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and the McCracken gang are in custody.
