Synopsis for "Deals"

Batman stops a robbery and sees the Bat-Signal. Commissioner Gordon gives him a file on the recent disappearance of Tommy McKee, a ten-year-old patient at Fort Kisco Hospital.

Batman pays a visit to the doctor in charge the night Tommy disappeared, and learns that the board wouldn't discharge the boy, so his parents took him. After tracking down the parents, Batman is met by the father begging him to help his son.

At Arkham Asylum, Batman makes a deal with Clayface and brings him to S.T.A.R. Labs. There, Clayface tries to escape, but is quickly frozen. He is introduced to Tommy, whose molecular structure is breaking down, turning him into a mini Clayface.

After several days, Clayface manages to teach Tommy to control his form. However, it is only his external appearance that is changed, and Clayface tries to make a deal to be released from Arkham. After being persuaded by Tommy, Clayface agrees. Back at Arkham, Batman asks him why he helped Tommy, to which a teary-eyed Clayface responds, "No reason at all."
