Synopsis for "Dagger's Secret"

Dagger Dixon tells the story of how he got his Batman tattoo in a bar, and talks about how poorly he has been doing financially since quitting crime. Suddenly, Batman and Robin enter from above, looking for a man named Tommy Silk, who has committed murder. A fight ensues, and Dagger starts to leave, when he recognizes Tim under his costume, who also seems to know him. Distracted, Robin gets hit by Tommy, which angers Dagger and together they take down Tommy.

Later, Dagger calls Tim for some money, knowing the truth about him now. He reminds Tim about how he protected him and his father in the past, but Tim still turns him down.

Dagger then goes to ask the Penguin about how to blackmail Bruce Wayne, and offers him a percentage of money to help. However, Penguin is intrigued about the secret, and tries to coerce it out of Dagger, but he escapes.

Dagger shows up at Wayne Manor, looking for protection from Batman and Robin. Penguin bursts in and forcefully takes Dagger, until Nightwing appears and apprehends the Penguin. Realizing that he will never be safe, Dagger lies about Bruce's secret, as part of Tim's plan.

Three weeks later, Dagger is in San Diego getting a tattoo of Robin as a way of helping him keep secrets.
