Synopsis for "Night of the Living Death"

Batman is under attack from a horde of wrathful zombies under the command of Detective Radmuller when the zombie of Robin (Jason Todd) appears to help him. He thanks Batman for thinking of him and holds back the horde while Batman flees to a distant hut. There, Batman finds several zombie children who were in the care of Charles Parsons. Parsons shows Batman the basement, where Radmuller's parents are slowly bleeding to death. They say that Radmuller watched it and did nothing. A specter of the young Radmuller says that he must have blocked it out, while playing with a knife. The horde breaks in, and Batman fights while Parsons and the children escape. Deadman reappears, accompanied by the Phantom Stranger. They drive off the zombies. Remembering Robin's earlier comment, Batman deduces that his thoughts shape the pocket world he's in. The Phantom stranger says that the hanged man's curse is beginning to splinter, and there are some people outside the hut who want to see him. Batman goes, and finds his parents, as they were when they were killed. they tell him they're proud of him, and ask him to remember more than just their deaths. Meanwhile, Radmuller has Robin, Detective Keith and his last victimtied to stakes. He revels in the fact that his new way station to death means he can kill and kill again the already dead. Batman arrives, accompanied by Radmuller's parents. Breaking down, Radmuller attacks Batman, who confronts him with the truth that he was his parents' killer and knocks him back. Realizing that the curse only works if he plays along, Batman makers the horde disperse. His allies taking their leave, he drags Radmuller back to the apartment, restarting time in time to sever the hangman's rope before Radmuller can die. Raving in fury, Radmuller is arrested and Batman returns to the city, reminding Detectives Keith and Greer that he can always be contacted through Commissioner Gordon.
