Synopsis for "Transference, Part 3"

At Wayne Manor, Nightwing, Robin and Alfred Pennyworth try to deal with the shock of the apparent death of Batman due to the explosion of the Batmobile right in from of them. But Nightwing is convinced that his mentor isn't dead, and follows all possible leads to try and track him down. He also confronted Catwoman and asked her if she knew anything, and she mentioned that he wasn't the first to ask her about Batman recently.

Meanwhile in the Batcave, Robin and Alfred check Batman's computer files for potential leads on Hugo Strange. Instead, Tim discovers files on all of Batman's associates, and wonders where they could have come from. Robin reports his findings to Nightwing when suddenly the intruder alert sounds at Wayne Manor. Dick immediately returns to the Batcave where he finds Hugo Strange wearing Batman's costume while actually claiming to be Batman and calling Nightwing and Robin superfluous impostors. After a short fight Strange escapes under cover of smoke pellets with Nightwing and Robin pursueing him. Alfred stays behind and answers a phone call. Calling him is none other than Bruce Wayne ...

Synopsis for "Guardian"

Batman meets the original Green Lantern while chasing down arsonists hired by the Roman. Green Lantern isn't impressed with Batman's methods, and when Batman calls him out for abandoning Gotham, Green Lantern explains to him how he became afraid of the full extent of his power. He says Gotham needs a guardian, not a god, and after Batman tells him a story about riding the roller-coaster with his father, Green Lantern accepts Batman as that guardian.
