Batman: Gotham Knights #32 is an issue of the series Batman: Gotham Knights (Volume 1) with a cover date of October, 2002. It was published on August 21, 2002.
Synopsis for "24/7"
Bruce Wayne returns to his normal life. He banters with Alfred Pennyworth about his refusal to eat breakfast and goes to work at Wayne Enterprises, where he meets with stockholders, makes a deal with Multigon to support their environmental policies, takes a group of elderly people out for lunch, and encourages an employee in the mailroom to pursue a college education, which will be funded entirely by Wayne Enterprises.
Bruce attends the dedication ceremony for a statue commemorating No Man's Land and goes golfing with Fritz Manning, whom he tricks into building a recreation center for the community rather than Starcups coffee shops. He discusses her husband's recovery with Tanya Fox and is convinced to stay for dinner by her children, Tiffany and Timothy.
His effects are felt elsewhere. A former convict applies for a job at Carmichael Accounting, having turned his life around after Batman told him, "You can do better, Mickey." Bludhaven PD receives a donation of bulletproof vests from Wayne Enterprises. A couple celebrates the anniversary of the day Batman saved one's life. A thief backs out of a job because it's in Gotham and Batman works in Gotham. Another couple goes on a midnight walk, knowing their neighborhood is safe because Batman is rumored to be on patrol.
Batman stops a mugging in the Bowery, checks on Robin in Coventry, and comes to the rescue of Crispus Allen and Renee Montoya in Old Gotham. He plays chess with Two-Face in Arkham Asylum. He interrogates a criminal for information about a crime over Sprang Bridge. He checks in with Oracle and asks about her father, does one last patrol, and leaves flowers on his parents' grave before returning to Wayne Manor to sleep.

Synopsis for "Toyride"
Cameron Kang is arrested for hacking into the Pentagon. Three girls break into Cameron's things to see what he was up to when Cameron, in the police car, activates the "Rexbot," which swallows them. Batman tries to stop the robot t-rex from freeing Cameron while the girls climb out of the Rexbot and into the police car. One grabs the controls from Cameron and turns it off. Bruce Wayne builds a park in the neighborhood, to which he donates the Rexbot (now filled with cement), so the children have a safe place to play.
