Synopsis for "Fire & Ice"

Angered by the concept of summer, Mr. Freeze uses an "icicle bomb" on Gotham City Park that kills everyone there. He then targets a carnival held in The Hill, but refuses to make a ransom demand, confusing the goons he hired to move his power source.

Batman finds him. Mr. Freeze uses his ice gun on his own goons, killing them, but Batman blows up the power source, surrounding them with fire to give the Gotham City Police Department enough time to evacuate the area.

Mr. Freeze makes a dome of ice to protect himself (and Batman). When the ice melts through, Batman convinces Mr. Freeze to help him knock down a wall and escape the fire through the sewers. Once they are safe, Batman smiles and says it's a beautiful summer's day--and there's nothing Mr. Freeze can do about it.
