Synopsis for "Kings of Fear - Chapter Two: Eye of the Beholder"

Batman has been affected by the Scarecrow's Fear Toxin and he keeps having visions of his greatest enemies. Batman tries to fight them back until his mind comes back to reality and finds himself confronting Commissioner Gordon. Batman slowly recovers his conscience and Gordon gives him the identity of Scarecrow's hostage as a Kenneth Rhee.

Batman takes off in the Batmobile and calls Alfred to request all information from Rhee that he can find in the Batcomputer. After Alfred has given him the information, Batman goes to Rhee's last known address, but he spots a group of criminals assaulting an innocent man and he stops to take care of them.

Afterwards, Batman goes to Rhee's apartment, but the place is aparently empty. Batman is attacked by the landlord, who thought Batman was a criminal. Batman then interrogates the man about Rhee and learns that he has recently movedin, so there is nothing much to say about him.

Batman then contacts Commissioner Gordon and asks for Rhee's previous known address. After learning the location, Batman goes towards the place and stops a random crime before arriving. However, once he gets there, the entire building comes to life and grabs Batman, taking him to the rooftop. The hallucinations continue and it's all thanks to Scarecrow's fear toxin. Scarecrow confronts Batman, telling him how sick he is and how badly he needs therapy. Scarecrow then pushes Batman off the edge of the rooftop and the Dark Knight falls deeper into his fears.
