Synopsis for "Riddle Me That, Part Two"

Batman spots Riddler and his goons at JB Chem warehouse. Batman crashes through the glass roof ceiling. Riddler scoffs at Batman's theatrics since he has seen it all before as an intimidation method. Batman notices the Riddler is more dapper and not wearing his usual green outfit. He also notices a question mark tattoo on the right side of his neck. Batman tells Riddler that his clues are slipping

Riddler reaffirms Batman's deductions about his new look after undergoing cosmetic surgery, wearing more prestige clothing and points out the use of Tri-Hydroxyoctance insect attractant. Riddler knew that only Batman could determine the pesticide's origin but he pitied the poor girl who got herself involved in his game with the Dark Knight.

On the other side of the JB Chem plant, Harris explores the grounds but she is taken by surprise from a blinding green light. All of a sudden, Harris finds herself in a Riddler trap and Riddler telling Harris not to worry because he has something special planned for her. The Riddler trap begins to flood with green fluorescent liquid and Harris screams for help. Batman demands that Riddler let Harris go because the game is between them not her. Riddler tells Batman to be patient and all will be revealed.

Riddler exclaims that for too long the Batman has looked down on him after all the Riddler has done to him and his Bat Family but that changes tonight because he will be the one to claim victory. The Batman will give Riddler the pleasure of feeling triumphant. Batman then notices that he is the only one in the room when he brushes through Riddler. Riddler has been using a hologram to speak to Batman. Riddler points out how rude Batman is about spoiling things.

Batman determined the hologram because Riddler wasn't giving off any scent. Riddler applauds Batman for his keen detective skills then gives him a riddle "What is at the beginning of eternity. The middle of forever and the end of time?" Batman says is its the letter E. Riddler smiles and points to a window where the passing E train just flew by. Riddler tells Batman that someone has unknowingly picked up a bomb and is on the train. Batman has only ten minutes before the train explodes. Riddler then points to a table that has a synchronized wristband. Riddler informs Batman that he will need it to deactivate the bomb. Batman at first refuses but Riddler says you either forfeit the game as well as the lives on the train or play by the rules.

Batman chases after the E train with the Batmobile. Batman tells the computer on the Batmobile to search for any explosives, chemicals or hazardous material on the train. The scan turns out to be negative on the train. Batman then deduces that the wristband on him is the actual bomb and the key to deactivate it is on the train. Batman propels himself from the Batmobile to the E train.

Batman enters the train compartment and searches for key to the wristband. The people on the train are startled by Batman's appearance as he searches. Batman notices a poster on the train compartment wall that says "Game Box, your life just might depend on it." Batman turns to a little boy who is playing with a Game Box. Batman grabs the toy and breaks a window from the train compartment. Batman tells the passengers to brace themselves as he throws the toy out the window. The toy explodes mid air and damages the train.

Meanwhile, Professor Buttery takes Edward Nashton to his home and is convinced that Nashton in on his way to be a genius. Buttery can tell from Edward's demeanor and appearance that limitations have kept Nashton from acknowledging his true potential. Buttery is confident that his home and tutelage will expose Nashton to intellectual stimuli that has been withheld from him. Buttery can't understand how Nashton has gone so long without being noticed for his intelligence but he can see that Edward is destined for great things.

Nashton explores Buttery's vast library until he was startled by Buttery and his son Martin. Buttery apologizes for the scare and introduces his son to Edward. Edward greets Martin but Martin didn't extend the same courtesy. Buttery corrects Martin by showing manners to their new guest. Martin apologizes as Buttery tells Edward that Martin is a rebel who picked up bad traits from others on the streets. Buttery points out that Martin lacks Edward's intellect but he could learn from Nashton's resolve by showing Edward proper respect.
