Synopsis for "Cold Case, Part 3 of 3: Legacies"
Batman stops Mr. Freeze from killing Leslie Thompkins. He realizes Freeze wouldn't be so desperate to keep the secret that he had killed four women and harvested their organs to keep his wife Nora alive unless Nora knew.
Freeze admits that Nora figured it out before the fourth killing and confided in her doctor, Thomas Wayne. He was afraid the additional attention would cause someone to remember a detail or look into Thomas's notes and discover the truth, ruining Nora's reputation. Only Bruce knows that Thomas never wrote anything about Nora Fries. Batman promises to preserve the secret if Freeze confesses and surrenders peacefully.
The next morning, Leslie joins Bruce and Alfred for breakfast at Wayne Manor, and at Bruce's request, she tells a happy story about his parents.
