Synopsis for "The Nobody"

A bum discovers Batman's secret identity when a punk accidentally takes off his mask. Trying to profit with that secret, he sells it to crime lord Doc Creasy, who stabs him in the back and leaves him for death. The vagrant, bleeding out, walks all the way to Wayne Enterprises and explains the situation to Bruce Wayne. Batman tracks Doc Creasy to an auction where he plans to sell Batman's identity to the highest bidder. Joker sends his men to kidnap Doc and take the information for free. When they see Batman, Joker's men assume that it was a setup, and they kill Doc, taking his secret to the grave.

Later that night, Batman remembers the vagrant's last words before dying: "why do you do it, Batman?" Thinking to himself, Batman replies that he does it for "the nobodies."
