Synopsis for "Troika: Two of Four"

Batman interrogates Dark Rider about the Troika plans and the location of the nuclear device. Rider tells Batman to follow Colonel Vega and to try to prevent the possible nuclear disaster.

At Troika headquarters, Colonel Vega along with KGBeast and Romana Vrezhenski discuss the nuclear device and the advantage it can provide against Batman and America. They argue without knowing that the Dark Rider hid the nuclear weapon in the Troika headquarters; in the same room they were arguing. Colonel Vega leaves when he is outvoted in a decision.

In the day, Bruce struggles to accomplish the chores in the Manor and in the night he starts looking again for Vega. Robin feels worried about Ariana's safety and leaves Batman to do the search alone.

Vega knows that he is being followed so he heads to his personal hideout where he keeps some of his mind altering perception equipment. When Batman enters the place, he is unable to perform any physical activity because his senses have been altered. Batman receives a beating by the hands of Vega's thugs. When Vega is about to give Batman the final blow, Batman manages to destroy the main control board Vega is using to alter his perception and he is able to defend himself. While Batman is beating Vega's thugs, he escapes through a back door just to find himself with a Troika member who shot Vega in the forehead. When Batman gets outside Vega is dead and the killer gone. Batman searches Vega to find any clue of the nuclear device's whereabouts, and the only thing he can find is a WayneTech card belonging to Lucius Fox.
