Batman: The Caped Crusader is a series of trade paperbacks intended to collect the post-Crisis issues of Batman (Volume 1). However, the beginning of the post-Crisis issues were mostly already collected in Batman: Second Chances, so this series starts where that book ended.
This volume concludes the run of writer Jim Starlin. The main artists for the volume are Jim Aparo and Mike DeCarlo.
This volume does not include the "Batman: A Death in the Family" story arc, which is collected separately.
