Synopsis for "The Batman Affair, Chapter 2: Bruce Wayne, Agent of T.H.R.U.S.H.?"

Batman explains how the Penguin was a decoy for the villains' escape, and in this way cadges details from the finny fiend. Solo and Kuryakin meet with their chief, Waverly, in New York. He explains why he regards Bruce Wayne as a suspect: the escape from Arkham was well-planned and Wayne is a donor with access. Wayne's company will shortly host a fete at which it will unveil a new satellite; Waverly will attend with his agents, by using an old colleague as an entre: Alfred Pennyworth. And those arch-villains? They have arrived at their destination, and are swiftly lowered to an underground facility where their benefactor assures them they will work for him as new T.H.R.U.S.H. recruits, or else they will return to prison! At Wayne's event, Anders Overbeck prepares to discuss the satellite when Egghead and Ivy arrive in a flying machine! Between his egg bombs and her plant creatures, they distract Batman, Robin, Solo, Kuryakin and Batgirl long enough to escape with the satellite, exactly as they planned! Who can stop this terrible alliance?
