Synopsis for "An Egg Grows in Gotham"
One Wednesday in City Hall, Egghead, Gotham City's most intelligent super criminal, his secretary Miss Bacon and his henchmen Mr. Benedict and Foo Yung, steal the city charter during a tour of the building. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, along with Aunt Harriet, are observing nine raccoon pelts, which are to be paid to the last Mohican Indian living in Gotham: Chief Screaming Chicken. Every five years, the city’s founding fathers, consisting of the Wayne, Tyler and Savage families, must pay him the pelts in order to renew a lease. Later, after being informed by Alfred, the Dynamic Duo sped over to police headquarters to discuss the theft of the charter. Egghead cannot start a war between the Gothamites and the Indians because he is the only one left and it might have something to do with the Raccon ceremony taking place that night.
Meanwhile in his lair, Egghead finds a loophole to the charter: if the descendants of the Wayne, Savage and Tyler families do not pay the raccoon pelts by midnight, all ownership of Gotham City will revert back to the Indians and their legal representatives.
