Synopsis for "Marsha, Queen of Diamonds"
At U Magnum Diamonds, the police are on high alert because Marsha, Queen of Diamonds is back in town. She is escorted inside by Chief O'Hara where the famed Pretzel Diamond awaits. After taking the Diamond, Gordon is informed of this and calls Batman, who is adjusting the powerful Bat-Diamond in the cave with Robin.
When the Dynamic Duo arrive at police headquarters, Gordon isn't there. He has been summoned to Marsha's lair by O'Hara, who is being held captive along with three other men who Marsha seduced. In her throne room, her majordomo, the Grand Mogul, gives Marsha the specifics of the Bat Diamond, something she has had her eyes on for years. The only problem, however, is that no one knows the location of the Batcave. But Marsha is undaunted; she is determined to get inside, no matter what. When Gordon arrives, Marsha uses a remote control to fire a dart at him from a cupid statue.
Locked in a cage, Gordon calls his office to contact Batman and Robin and they head over. As Gordon and O'Hara argue over who should have Marsha, the Queen of Diamonds herself goes down to her basement to visit her Aunt Hilda, a former chemistry professor from Vassar who became a witch after an experiment gone wrong turned the entire student body orange. Hilda is positive that her latest love potion will be strong enough to seduce Batman. When Batman does arrive however, and is hit by the dart, he uses his willpower to overcome the effects of the potion. Rejected and outraged, Marsha summons Grand Mogul and her three guardians and Batman and Robin engage in a sword fight with them. Unfortunately for the Dynamic Duo, the fight comes to an end when Robin is hit with a love dart.
Batman considers sacrifice his life to save Robin, though Marsha demands access to the Batcave so she can claim the Bat Diamond for herself. Batman, under the condition of an oath he made between him and Robin that no stranger would be brought into the Batcave, refuses (despite the fact that he has done so before by gassing his visitors to sleep). Marsha is willing to offer a comprise, by marrying Batman. Again Batman refuses, but Marsha gives an ultimatum: Either he marries her or Robin, Gordon and O'Hara will remain under her spell. Batman reluctantly accepts and Marsha assigns Grand Mogul with the wedding arraignments.
Batman and Marsha's ceremony is broadcast live across the city, which means that Alfred and Aunt Harriet are watching as well from Wayne Manor. They decide to formulate a plan to save Batman…
