Synopsis for "That Darn Catwoman"
At 11:00 a.m in the auditorium of Aaron Burr High School, Robin delivers an inspiring speech to it's graduating class. Little does he suspect that Catwoman is backstage with her latest henchgirl, an aspiring rock and roll singer named Pussycat, who stonewalls Robin and scratches him with a catatonic drug, which is later explained to reverse a person's morals. This turns Robin's personality into a pro-crime thug and he slams Chief O'Hara into a wall after he greets the now seemingly ex-boy wonder. Gordon informs Batman and he heads off to police headquarters to review Pussycat's description.
At Wayne Manor, Aunt Harriet asks Alfred why she isn't allowed in Bruce's study and he gives her a reasonable explanation that every man should have a sanctuary of sorts. As he further explains, Catwoman breaks in with Pussycat, Robin and her henchmen Marlow, Spade and Templar. They rob the safe behind the portrait and tie up the two residents with Catwoman explaining the effects to the drug to Alfred. But Robin is feeling woozy, which Catwoman assumes is a negative side effect. Once they're gone, Alfred explains the situation to Batman via Bat-Phone and now he must act on his own to get his beloved sidekick back to normal.
Back at Catwoman's lair, Pussycat sings “California Nights” (an actual Leslie Gore song) to Marlow, Spade and Templar, much to Catwoman's distaste. For their next strategy, they plan to hold two more heists for an even bigger caper. She calls Commissioner Gordon over the phone, who plugs her into the Bat-Phone so that she can speak with Batman. She plans to meet with him on neutral ground, intending to kill Robin as an ultimatum. Naturally, Batman refuses.
Catwoman commits two of her next robberies: one at the apartment of inventor Pat Pending and another at the embassy ballroom of Prince Ibn Kereb of Gedallia. Batman turns up and fights the henchmen, but he is no match for Robin and they escape with the money. He pursues them to a second cat-lair where he finds Robin tied to a chair, but Catwoman's henchmen ambush Batman with electric cattle prods. The Dark Knight is soon tied to a giant mousetrap that will spring shut when Robin cuts the rope. The only way out, is if he becomes Catwoman's partner…
