The Underdwellers is an episode of season 1 of Batman. It premiered on October 21, 1992.
Synopsis for "The Underdwellers"
A crime spree is spreading through Gotham City and all are attributed to "leprechauns"; or little green men. Batman investigates the case and discovers that the supposed leprechauns are just kids. Batman took one of them to the batcave and provided him food and shelter. The kid then led Batman to the sewers where there were some other children being enslaved and forced to remain silent and steal from people in the surface.
Batman confronted the man responsible for that atrocity, a man named The Sewer King. Batman defeated a couple of alligators and stopped the Sewer King. With help of the Gotham City Police Department; the children were removed from the sewers and Batman watched from the distance.
