Two-Face, Part I is an episode of season 1 of Batman. It premiered on September 25, 1992.
Synopsis for "Two-Face, Part I"
Harvey Dent is running for reelection as Gotham's District Attorney. His campaign leads him to capture some of Rupert Thorne's men. With the pressure of the job, Dent starts to lose his temper in public. Thorne seized the chance to discredit Dent by exposing his psychological troubles to the press and managed to get Harvey's psychiatric record from his therapist.
Thorne planned to extort Dent by exposing those files unless the DA's department left his business untouched. When Thorne threatened Harvey, his hidden personality emerged and confronted Thorne and his men. The fight continued but Batman intervened. Thorne ran away with Dent's files and Harvey tried to stop him. One of Thorne's men shoot at Harvey but Batman tackled him down deflecting the shoot to a high voltage cable that landed on a vat of chemicals. This created an explosion that damaged Harvey Dent. Batman took him to the hospital but Harvey's face was already disfigured. When he woke up and saw what have happened to his face, he escaped from the hospital.
