Batman Adventures #13 is an issue of the series Batman Adventures (Volume 1) with a cover date of October, 1993.

Synopsis for "Last Tango in Paris"

Talia al Ghul enlists Batman's help in tracking down Hassan, a man who had stolen a priceless statue from her father. Batman, wanting to keep as close an eye on the Demon's Head's daughter as possible, agrees and travels to Paris with her as Bruce Wayne.

For an entire day, Bruce and Talia go on a sightseeing tour of Paris, enjoying the city and each other's company. After nightfall, Talia and Batman continue the hunt for Hassan, which eventually leads them to a countryside hut. Unfortunately, the hut is a trap set by Pierre Lascaux, the statue's buyer and an old rival of Ra's al Ghul.

Lascaux traps Batman and Talia inside the hut, sets it ablaze, and has his men wait outside with guns, forcing the pair to choose between a slow death or a quick one. However, Batman and Talia manage to escape and beat Lascaux and his men into submission. The statue recovered, Talia admits it is not merely sentimental, but contains microfilm detailing her father's criminal operations.

Batman angrily accuses Talia of manipulating him into serving Ra's. Talia, stung, insists that she had only wanted to spend time with her beloved, and leaves the statue behind with Batman as he stands still for a long time in the rain.
