Golem is an episode of season 1 of Batman Beyond. It premiered on February 6, 1999.
Synopsis for "Golem"
Fed up with being pushed around, Willie steals a two-story tall working robot - the GLM - Golem - from his father's company. He crushes Nelson's car, but Batman intervenes. In an attempt to attack Batman, the golem instead punches through some electrical wires, shorting it out and fusing the controller headband Willie was wearing. Soon after, Willie discovers he can control the golem without the headband, using it to tear up some Jokerz.
Blade decides to take Willie out, though mostly to get back at Nelson. Nelson arrives anyway, and throws Willie in the harbour to humiliate him - and takes Blade back. Willie summons his golem and attempts to stomp Nelson - ruining Terry and Dana's night in the process. Batman must intervene, rescuing Nelson and throwing him in the harbour. Willie's father also arrives at the news of the golem sightings, and Willie instead attacks him. Every attack on the golem seems to hurt Willie, and in return he uses it more destructively. The golem is finally destroyed, and Willie is sent to prison. Here, he discovers he can control more than just the golem's technology.
