Synopsis for "Hush Beyond, Part II: Past Crimes"

The news has quickly spread that a man going by the name of Batman's old enemy, Hush is killing the rogues of the new and old Batman. Batman arrives at the Batcave to tell Bruce about Hush but he already knows. Terry gives Bruce the bloody bandage he found. While examining the bandage, he recalls to Terry about his history with Hush. Hush used to be Thomas Elliot, Bruce's childhood friend who hated him because of his relationship with his parents. Tommy planned on killing his parents so he can inherit their fortune but Bruce's father managed to save Tommy's mother and Hush hated Bruce and his family ever since then. Tommy went on to become one of the most famous surgeons in the world and yet he still hated Bruce. Tommy then found out Bruce was Batman and became Hush, a criminal who wanted to destroy his body and soul. During their final battle, Hush injured Batman and disappeared into the Brownstone district on Finger Avenue. Batman searched the alleyways until he heard a gunshot. Hush had broken into a woman's apartment and her reaction to the break in was to shoot. Bruce couldn't get close to scene because for some reason he wasn't on good terms with the police at that time. The police arrived to woman's distress call and the officers identified the body as Thomas Elliot. Terry knows Bruce is skeptical now about Hush being truly dead but Bruce is determined to examine the chemicals on the bandage.

Later that night, Jim Tate aka Armory, one of Terry's old rogues, came home to find Hush along with his stepson and wife tied up. Hush killed each of the Tates by impaling them with an antique umbrella with a sharpened point. Batman listens in on a conversation between the detectives. According to them, the Penguin hasn't been active for years. Batman tells Bruce to make a list of all of Batman's new and old rogues. Batman then spots a woman dressed like Catwoman breaking into a company named Digicloud. The company is on the verge revolutionizing cloudware data storage with a new chip. In the wrong hands, this chip culd enable someone to steal billions. Batman confronts her but the woman escapes and claims to be the new Catwoman. Batman chases after her and tries to establish a connection but Catwoman isn't interested. Her reason for choosing to inherit the Catwoman mantle is only for her to know and for Batman to find out. She then tosses him into a streetlamp and gets away. Bruce tells Terry to abandon the pursuit of Catwoman and uploads the list of rogues.

At the Gotham Oaks Senior Assisted Living Center, Julian Day a.k.a. Calendar Man prepares an explosive birthday card for Commissioner Barbara Gordon. Terry rips the explosive birthday card out of Julian's hands but before Terry could interrogate Julian, Hush jumps through a window and tackles Terry. Hush attacks Terry with the deceased Cavalier's rapier sword which he intended to use on Calendar Man. Hush then steps out of the shadows to reveal his mask and takes out a knife, ready to kill Batman.
