Synopsis for "The Long Payback, Conclusion"
Dana Tan gets into the Batcave, desperate for Bruce to do something to save Terry: she is shocked when she learns that Bruce sent young Matthew McGinnis as Robin to help, and tells Bruce he must be crazy. Still, Bruce explains her he would never have done that if there was another option and if he was able to stand and not rest constantly on a wheelchair, but Matt is the only option available. Bruce directs him, telling him to attack subtly, not directly. He then tells him to fire missiles from his bike, destroying the power core of the laboratory of Payback.
The diversive works: Ten helps Terry escape and he defeats Payback, who then activates a self-destruction device on his suit. Matt, against Bruce's orders, intervenes, sending Terry into a blind rage: it was not Bruce's call, but his, to let his brother take a decision like that. Still, he focuses on the matter as Payback decided that killing Robin would bring Batman even more pain than his own death. After defeating Payback and also saving his life, Dana gets out disgusted by Bruce while Batman and Robin come back, with Terry furious at his mentor. But Matt defends Bruce and himself: he took the decision, he wants to do this.
They promise to discuss the matter later, as Terry decided to help a friend: he brings food to Stalker's village, without the necessity for them to pay anything back: he's doing what's right, helping starving people fight hunger. The food will come as long as they need it.
