Synopsis for "The Final Joke: Epilogue"

Matt wakes up after a nightmare where the Joker is successful in killing him. He knows the Joker is dead and that he is safe, but he's still afraid: he's determined to not show his fear to Terry or Bruce, as they maybe could strip him of his role as Robin. In the Batcave, Bruce and Dick monitor Terry, who is taking out all of the Jokerz: Bruce deemed the adulation people give to a being of pure evil like the clown a dangerous thing, that must be eradicated. Matt discovers it and wants to go along, but both Bruce and Dick tell him it's not necessary as Terry can handle them himself. Matt does not follow orders, dresses up and reaches his brother.

This makes Dick enraged and afraid: he tells Bruce this must stop, after what happened to Jason and Barbara in the past. The Joker could have killed even Elainna when he got into the Batcave. Still, Bruce thinks Matt has what it takes and experience is the only way to progress. Fighting the last of the Jokerz, Robin is almost tricked by Hearts, a girl trying to convince him she was blackmailed into being part of the gang. Dick intervenes personally, stopping her before it was too late. Once again, Matt put his life too much at risk and now Terry, Dick and Bruce all agree in making him stop: he's not Robin anymore.

Meanwhile in the GCPD obituary, Harley Queen sneaks in and steals the body of the Joker, just when Bruce and Dick are discussing about her fate while in the Batcave.
