Synopsis for "First Flight, Part Five"
Bruce and Matt now realize that Elainna must be Batwoman, as the fact Dick came to Wayne Manor due to her disappearance couldn't be a coincidence, given also the fact that the two main suspects, Barbara and Melanie, were cleared, and with them she was the only woman who had permission to get into the Batcave. Dick is shocked: him and her mother did everything to not get her be part of the superhero business, and she got into the army to contribute without having to wear a cape. She always understood why they wanted her out. Barbara though tells him that, from experience, is difficult for a girl to not dream to be like her father, if her father was a former superhero. As the team tries to find out where Elainna could be hiding, she prepares to find Blight once again, still not accessing the whole potential of the suit as this would lead Bruce to track her.
Meanwhile, a stunned and still amnesiac Terry is in a sealed capsula, ready to be the new body of a decaying Derek Powers: as he wakes up, he realizes he has no chance to escape and that Constance betrayed him. Still, the conscience transfer fails: the action of False Face made it impossibile, so Constance has to restore Terry's mind and memories, with McGinnis realizing he's going to be the body of the man who killed his father. But as Constance was ready to start the operation, the power shuts down. Batwoman of course is responsible: after stunning Constance, she manages to free Terry and flee with him: Blight know cannot transfer anymore and the time is up. As Constance dies due to extreme radiation exposure, Blight makes an oath: if he has to die, then Bruce Wayne will come with him, no matter what.
