Synopsis for "Rise of the Demon, Part 4"
Terry and Damian confront themselves in a duel, also talking about the cape: why Bruce did not chose Damian as the heir to the title of Batman? But the leader of the League of Assassins answers he did take the suit, but he understood that in it and the Batcave you can only find emptiness. Then the two keep fighting, and Damian underlines all the mistakes and shortcomings of Terry in how he acts as Batman. Then, he tells him Bruce knows who he is and knows they are fighting, and he's coming to prevent the inevitable to happen: Damian will win. Even the suit acknowledges this, telling Terry that Damian Wayne is the most skilled opponent he will ever face.
In the Batcave, Max and Matt receive a message from Bruce, explaining why he left them, going alone to help Terry. The two still try to reach out to Batman, but the suit quickly cuts them off, not before having witnessed that Damian Wayne is Ra's al Ghul now. In the Himalayas, Bruce Wayne tries to get to his son's headquarters, struggling to make the climb due to the heavy meteorological conditions. He starts thinking about Damian, about how and why he left him to join the ranks of his grandfather: after Bruce declared that he couldn't be Batman anymore, Damian came back to Gotham from Europe to signal that Ra's was on the move, as he knew that Batman was going to retire. Donning the X-7 Prototype, even with Bruce against it, Damian went on to a marathon of four hours of consecutive fights, almost wiping out Ra's entire army. Then he disappeared, leaving the suit behind: Bruce believes that all was a scheme by Ra's to let the suit change the kid to a point of no return, giving him the right ground to recruit him in his cause.
Bruce gets to the top, and there finds Koru ready to kill him. His opponent undervalues him though, and Bruce out-tricks him knocking him out. Meanwhile, Damian manages to disable Terry's suit thanks to him knowing all the technical details of the Prototype. Then, Damian explains that he tricked Curaré into seeking Batman, and Bruce, out for him to have this moment: as Bruce walks in, he's just in time to witness Damian ready to deliver the final blow to the pretender, Terry McGinnis.
