Synopsis for "Do You Understand These Rights? (Part I) - You Have the Right To Remain Silent"
Officer Geoff Shancoe returns to work after his honeymoon just when Batman brings in the Joker for the first time. While Shancoe books him, the Joker admires a photograph of him with his wife Holly.
The Joker is put into lockup for the night, where he coughs up a vial of acid and kills his cellmates with it. Shancoe punches him. Claiming he wants to make up for it, the Joker tells Shancoe a joke. He then says Holly's name, and he reveals he stole Shancoe's cell phone to call Holly and convinced her to hang herself.
The police rush to the Shancoes' apartment where Holly is found dead.
